Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using Fitbud. They govern your use of our app and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Fitbud ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fitbud. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Description of Service

Fitbud is a fitness tracking and coaching application that provides workout logging, nutrition tracking, AI-powered coaching, social features, and progress analytics. Features may change or be discontinued at any time.

Fitbud provides general fitness information and AI-generated suggestions for educational purposes only. This is not medical advice.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any fitness programme, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, or health concern. Fitbud is not responsible for any injury, illness, or adverse health outcome arising from use of the App.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Fitbud ("User Content"). By posting, you grant Fitbud a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your User Content solely to operate and improve the App.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that it does not violate any third-party rights.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software in the App — excluding User Content — are the property of Fitbud or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

Fitbud offers optional paid subscription tiers ("Premium" and "Elite"). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. We do not offer refunds except as required by applicable law.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FITBUD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Fitbud in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time via Settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fitbud operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
